OK
So I'm officially freaked out. That's right, FREAKED. Man o man. Ok, so heres what happened.
I'm laying in bed. I'm trying to settle my mind down a little, so I watch a little "Everybody Loves Raymond" when I hear a knock on my door. Thats right a knock. So I get up to answer it and theres a girl on the other side. Dut Dah Daaaa. OK, thats not the freaky part. She was one of my residents and she wanted a wrench cause her and her roommate were lowering their beds at 10:45 in the PM. Anyways, I had no wrench. So she went on her way and I went back to bed. I turned the TV off a few minutes later and I was laying in bed thinking about my day and what all I had to do tomorrow (I do this almost every night in case you were wondering) I can't help it.
Anyways, I remembered that I had to read a story on the website for my Chinese Culture class and make a posting on the web ct about it. So i went to my computer to do so and I turned on my desk lamp, but nothing else. So, I could see basically what was on my desk, but nothing else in the room really at all. I'm on the site and reading this story when I hear something drop on my desk that is a similar sound to a drop of rain on a piece of paper. So I look to see what it is, and it's some type of brown spider slowly crawling on my desk.
Now, I'm a little affraid of spiders, I'll grant you that, but to have one plop down like that, really really freaked my out. So, it crawled under a schedule of classes that I had so I waited for the right time and I smashed it. That wasn't the end though. When I picked up the paper, it was dead, but one of it's legs was still twitching. That was weird. Then that leg fell off. Which made it even weirder. So I was pretty freaked. Right now it's about 12:10 and it happened around 11:20, so as you can imagine, i'm still a little freaked out.
In retrospect, I'm probably a wussy and you can call me that if you want to. But unless you're trained in some sort of martial arts that makes you calm in whatever situation that you're in, you probably would have been a little freaked out too, at least initially.
So, I'm gonna try to sleep now. These things always come at the best times. I gotta work at 5 am tomorrow and then I have two Exams in two of my psych classes. I hope all goes well with that. Well, I hope this story made you laugh or smile or made you do some sort of perplexed look on your face like theres a fish hook in your eyebrow and you like it or something like that.
Anyways, I'll check ya later.
