"You think people will still be using napkins in the year two-thousand? Or is this mouth-vacuum thing for real?"
-Cosmo Kramer, in
The Millennium

Is there any difference between aspiring to do something and actually doing it? It seems that the answer is yes. But the here's the problem, if you don't want to do something, then doing it is usually a lot harder. You see when you have something that needs to get done yet motivation lacks greatly, then actually getting the task completed can seem difficult and monotonous.

Just like Kramer's mouth-vacuum I too have something on my plate that needs to get done yet lack the motivation and intuition to do it. If ony someone would have taken the step out to say, "Hey, lets get started on this 'mouth-vacuum' thing and get this puppy finished for the future generations so they wont have to suffer with the inconveniences, irritation, and discomfort of napins anymore." As of yet, no one has stepped up to this challenge. Even though the known problem is in place, there is still a lack of motivation. If they were to start this rigorous task of developing the face cleaning technology for the 21st century, there would most definitely ensue times of great trials and difficulties in getting their task finished. But when it was done, think of the outcome, sheer greatness.

I think my problem is the same as Kramer. I know that this paper I write for my Race and Ethnics class will expand the minds of my teacher and classmates. I know that my grade will, in turn, be better following the completion and turning in of this yet to be fabulous piece of work. And the praise and glory that will ensue from my classmates and teacher will be worth it all, but I still hesitate. I've got something worse than writer's block. It's called laziness with a side of procrastination. I could do this thing, but think of how little fun it would be. Compared to sleeping or looking up seinfeld quotes it's going to be as boring as a plank of wood. But I must complete the task that is set out for me. I must finish what I started in late August of this year and kick the butt of this paper and prove once and for all whatever it is that I'm supposed to be writing about. I WILL OVERCOME! I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither present nor future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will keep me from doing this paper (Disclaimer: I'm really joking, I wanted to use this scripture to emphasize my new found determination, but I definitely don't second guess the sovereignty of the Almighty God and his plan for my life. With that being said...) So here I go, I'm gonna wrote this puppy til my fingers bleed. If you see me signed in on Messenger, feel free to give me a, "keep up the good work," or something like that, but after that, just let me go free like an eagle soaring to his destiny.

Anywho, thanks for readin my blog. I just wanna say,"so, there" to all the people who said to me in an annoying voice, "When are you gonna update your blog. Geeze it's been like forever. I'm tired of seeing the same old 'Mike Check' garbage. I'm gonna take you off of my links if you don't update soon." So, There! Anywho, we'll work on givin ya some more updates in the near future.

May God bless ya,
-Andy
